Dansk Køre Forbund - The Danish Driving Federation hosted the FECTU AGM in 2024. Representatives of the organizations "IG Arbeitspferde" from Switzerland, "ÖIPK" from Austria, "Lithuanian Draft Horse Breeders Association" from Lithuania and the "British Horse Loggers" from Great Britain were present at the open-air museum Hjerl Hede in Vinderup. New elections were held at this year's General Assembly. The current president Joao Rodriguez from Portugal and long-term president Pit Schlechter had already announced in advance that they would no longer be on the board for the new period. This meant that two new Board members and a new President had to be found and elected. Before the election, Joao Rodriguez looked back on his time as President and reported on projects such as the online webinars organized by the FECTU, the Equid Power Network database, the coordination of the European logging  Championships and the cooperation with MountainPartnership, the Working Animal Alliance and EUnetHorse.
Michaela Taubländer from the ÖIPK in Austria stood for the office of President and was also elected unanimously. Cesc Aldabo remains on the Board as Vice President. Nanna Larsen from Denmark will take over as Treasurer and Matthias Penner from Austria as Secretary. Aurelija Aksomaityte from the Lithuanian Draft Horse Breeders Association in Lithuania is a new member of the FECTU Board.
On Sunday, a meadow on the museum grounds was plowed up and reseeded with two horse teams. Two experienced and well-known plowmen, Calle Jonasen and Jens Juul from Denmark, were on site. The experienced Friesian and Icelandic horse and cart teams allowed all participants to pick up the lines and plow themselves and get tips from the plowing professionals.
